Starling Squadrons On Their Way to the Moss

I was inspired to do this sketch to highlight that early November is the time when Starlings arrive in the UK from all over Northern Europe and at the end of the day form enormous roost usually preceded with absolutely fabulous displays called murmurizations, of which we do have spectacular sights nearby at Leighton Moss (Lancashire) and this roost regularly gets around the 60,000 birds and possibly more.
