The Face in the Limestone

Can you recognize the face?  I found him on November 22nd 2013 on Hutton Roof,
 so lonely a chap was he! I can clearly see a beret cocked to his left,
eyebrows, eyes, nose, ears, cheeks, lips, mouth and chin,
and I wonder what sort of baccy he smokes in his pipe.

"Your face doth stare with nair a twitch,
Full of battered scars,
You've fought your battle til the end,
Nah soldier rest your weary head".
